Code designations for Hip and Eye certifications:
(To accommodate non-US breeders in this directory, the designations of OFA and CERF (the
hip and eye registars of the US) are not used. The codes then reflect that the breeder has breeding stock with certificates issued by the
organization responsible for granting hip and eye clearances in the country of
origin. In the US, those organizations
are OFA and CERF and are implied when using either "H" or "E".)
H - Hips certified E - Eyes certified N - Country does not have a a designated certifying organization but an examination by an opthalmologist or radiologist has cleared the animal of disease. C - All other cases |

Code designations for Titles:
(Designations are to be used to show titles earned by dogs bred by breeder. To accommodate non-US breeders and non-AKC titles in this directory, the designations for American Kennel Club titles are not exclusive, but rather the codes reflect that from the breeding stock there are titles issued in the catagories list below.)
F - Competitive field trials. (FC, AFC, Qualified All-Age) B - Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Group placements. S - Conformation champion. H - Non-competitive hunt test. (UKC/AKC/NAHRA hunt tests, Working Dog stakes) O - Obedience/Rally. T - Tracking. A - Agility/Flyball. D - Dockdogs. |
