- To upload image files (JPEG and GIF only) to the CBRS4ME server.
- You must be a registered user.
- This is a shared resource for all registered users, please do not abuse it. I added this feature just to help those who do not already use a photo site to host images.
- There is no set length of time an image will remain on the server. I will delete images off the server as needed.
- If you receive an "Error: Undefined" or "Internal Server Error" message you have done something wrong that I have not programmed the code to catch. Go back and try again.
- If the image pixel size exceeds 640x480 it will be resized. This size is the default of many digitial cameras, but depending on the demand on storage and bandwith usage I may opt to resize to a smaller image resolution in the future.
- If the file exceeds 600K on your disk drive I will not accept it. I suggest you resize it to an acceptable size before attempting to upload to my server.
- Be patient. It takes time to upload, check the contents and resize a file.
- No spaces, &, ? characters in the destination filename. Browsers do not like these or they have special meaning. The convention for naming GIF and JPG files is to add the .gif or .jpg extension. Keep it simple; a destination filename is not a long multi-word description.
- If successful you will be returned a URL to the image.
