I wished I had known her sooner. Each time you tell us a story, I feel I have gotten to know her a little better. She was certainly a most marvelous friend and companion. I remember one time when I was married, my husband and I were traveling to a skeet shoot and stayed in a rather ramshakel motel and all night long there was noise and people going in and out of the rooms next to us and above us (probably doing things that were not too legal (lol) In addition to my husband putting a pistol under his pillow, Rosie, our German Shepherd, was completely awake all night right by the door growling and barking everytime someone walked by, spoke, or slammed a door. Needless to say, we also got no sleep and changed out motel the very next day. And Rosie, our shepherd, slept allllll the next day. :-) Therese
