Subject: training Posted by leeman, leeman@optonline.net on June 25, 2008 at 21:54:10: I have a great 15 month old femal chesapeake . She loves to retrieve well, most of the time.. I take her to the river and toss bumpers ,tennis balls ect. She is starting to bring it half way back and just wait for any other dog toy on the beach to be tossed. She wants everybody elses toy . At this point she finds it hard to listen to me. We did obiedeance training she did fine . I can bring her in the yard on a long line she does fine. (come when called) I thought I had god control over her until the last few weeks . I just bought a tri tronics e collar I will see how that goes? I would like to find some one in my area who is familiar with the breed and do some retriver training with her w/c I know she would love .She is a great dog. Are there any groups .
