Once when Leo was young (my lab) he heard some kids playing on the other side of the woods (there is a school) and he wandered off. I was frantic and had no car at the time. I called my sister at work and all I said was "Leo is missing" and she said "I'll be right there". Anyway we found him sitting in the shade of the school yard, the kids were gone, like he was waiting for a bus. When I asked my sister what she told them at work, she said she told them there was a family emergency, after all your child was missing.
