My rescue, Ruffie, has had issues with anxiety. One of the things I've done is take him places. Lots of places. The walking path in our town for a walk. The park. The pet food store. We walk the neighborhood almost every night and inevitably run into people. He has really improved leaps and bounds since we started doing this. It takes time, but positive experience upon positive experience will build a good foundation.

Class is great--I notice a big difference when we are in class and when we are not. We're going back this fall to see what else he might want to do. Maybe agility or rally obedience.
