Chessie's LOVE people, chessie's do not generally love other dogs. Your dog will be used to ahving lots of people around so that will be normal for him/her.

Chessie's also require a lot of work and attention for the first 2 years. Multiple classes and training at home. What is your dog experience level? Have you owned dogs before, what breeds? Those are the questions I would be asking you if you were buying a puppy from me. Based on your answers I would then decide if you might be better suited to wait until after your child was older.
