I have had three senior chesapeakes, all rescues. They are wonderful! Very calm, confident without being bossy, and mine had no issues such as digging, chewing or urinating in the house.

They all got along with my younger dogs (who seemed to respect their senior status!)

I am currently waiting for my next senior foster dog.
