The owners will hit every rescue group and any other place they can find and than someone starts working and finding a soloution, only to find out another group is already on it. I'm finding out now, what I do when someone wants to place their dog is to ask them if they've contacted any other Chessie Rescue group at all and who did they talk too. Than I contact that person and we pull together to find the best solution for the dog. Rescue work takes enough time & effort as it is, than to work you butt off to get transport and everything moving in place to find out an other group is ahead of you. Communication between groups is the key. Get's crazy sometimes. Glad someone's on it. Sandie
