Back in May CBRR&R rescued an abandoned, deadgrass Chesapeake named Samantha. She was hungry and alone in the house her owners had been evicted from. Sammy had a laundry list of problems when she came to her foster home in Ohio. In that steadfast manner that is so typical of Chesapeakes, one by one she is conquering them. Through it all Samantha is a happy, sweet girl who did not deserve the hand she was dealt.

As dog owners, you all know that conquering canine problems costs money. We expect Samantha’s expenses to top $1000.00, but she’s young and in the words of her vet, well on her way to “perfectly healthy.”
