I appreciate your concern about not only me but to the dogs in need of "forever homes" though. I am a full-time student in an intensive program now and that takes about 50 hours/week. Not only that but where I am there is a homeowners association with dog restrictions to under 25lbs. This is also a senior community so I already stick out like a sore thumb. I've already had neighbors call security because I was going for a walk and people who can actually walk around here must automatically be suspicious. I was able to sweet talk them into looking the other way for Rigger because my dad bought this house about 9 months before he passed away and that I couldn't afford to pay for both the mortgage and another rent, being a student and all.... Another reason: I'm not convinced that Florida is for Chessies. Heat, humidity and not being able to swim (gators) made it a bad match for Rigger. I'll graduate in 2 years (god willing) and then will be free to move anywhere again....most likely to a place with more than 1.5 seasons.
