He wants to know where the dog is and be able to check up on him sometimes. I think from the email that he (the owner) may also be ill with cancer, but I can't really say that for sure, but that may be why he doesn't want to fix the issue with money being thrown at him. He said that he knows something will happen in its' own time and thanked me for caring, but no thanks to my taking the dog. I guess that's because he knows that I am affiliated with some of the others that posted him and knows what their solutions were, so I am not a candidate either. It sounds like he is trying to do what he thinks is best for the dog and won't just toss him to the wolves, or at least I hope that is what is going on.
